Left-foot kicking Isabella Nersesyan blasted in two goals in an avalanche of first-half scoring as the #13 Pasadena City College women's soccer team blanked #20 Palomar, 4-0, in Round 1 of the Southern California Regional Playoffs Wednesday at Robinson Stadium.

For the second straight season, the Pasadena City College women's soccer team hosts an opening postseason match as the #13 seed Lancers play #20 Palomar in Round 1 of the Southern California Regional Playoffs on Wednesday. The game has a 4 p.m. start time at Robinson Stadium.

Women's Soccer Places 3rd In SCC Tournament

The Pasadena City College soccer team used some sharp shooting to post a 4-1 victory over Cerritos and grab third place in the annual South Coast Conference Tournament. The Lancers finished the regular season at 14-6-2 and were #12 in the Power Points ratings for the SoCal Region that help determine the postseason seedings.

Alexandra Lopez tied for the South Coast Conference lead in goals at 14 with two net scores and added two assists to help the Pasadena CIty College women's soccer team blank East Los Angeles, 4-0, to open the SCC Tournament Friday night at Robinson Stadium.

State #18 Women's Soccer Rallies For Tie With #3 Long Beach

After watching a 5-game win streak stopped in a tough 1-0 loss at rival Mt. San Antonio on Oct. 24, the Pasadena City College women's soccer team became just the second team this season to prevent Long Beach City from a victory. The state #18 Lancers came back from a pair of 1-goal deficits to earn a 2-2 road tie on Tuesday.

Raylyn Laney scored two of her team's three goals in a 12-span during the first half as the state #10 Pasadena City College women's soccer team shut out host El Camino, 3-0, on Friday afternoon. While both teams are members of the South Coast Conference, this was played as a non-conference contest.

Next Player Up Mentality Serving State #12 Women's Soccer Well

With their top center defender and offensive player both out with injuries in the past two weeks, the Pasadena City College women's soccer team has made adjustments. After a rocky 2-game losing streak, the state #12 Lancers are finding their game again with different players stepping up now in consecutive victories. On Tuesday, PCC blanked Citrus, 2-0, at Robinson Stadium.

The Pasadena City College women's soccer team held another host opponent scoreless in topping Moorpark, 2-0, on Tuesday afternoon. The Lancers improved to 2-0 on the season.
